A brief Update on Progress

I know it's been a while since I first started to transfer all my posts from my old site and I don't appear to have made much progress but rest assured I intend to finish it this year. If you're wondering why I decided to do this, there are basically three reasons. Firstly, since I started this blog using WordPress I've found the learning curve to be steep; in fact, some of the technical issues I've had have been a nightmare. Secondly, WordPress required a hosting platform, which turned out to be expensive while Blogger is free. And finally, Blogger is integrated into the Google ecosystem, which will make it much easier for me.
The new site may look slightly different, but the content will be the same and I hope to post more regularly once I've transferred everything. This site will stay live until I have completed the transfer so it will be possible to leave comments until then.

I saw "Are You Being Served" as a kid in the 90s on Belgian television. Recently I watched all the episodes again.. and I discovered "Grace & Favour". Both shows brought me so much joy. I just had to comment on your blog to show appreciation for all the work you do to keep the memories alive. Thank you for your time and efforts! :)
